We work on a vehicle for its owner or an authorized driver only.

Auto Locksmith San Jose® opens vehicles, replaces car keys, and programs fobs for the registered owner or an authorized driver only. Before we begin, we confirm authorization to protect you and your vehicle.

Proof we may ask for

  • Vehicle registration, title, or insurance card
  • Photo ID with a matching name
  • For company or fleet vehicles, written authorization from the business

If ownership or authorization cannot be confirmed, we cannot perform the work. Every job begins with a phone check at (408) 899-5558 before anyone is dispatched.
